Sahadev Khatry, Managing Partner at Synergy Law and
Chambers, holds a master's degree in finance law from the Institute of Law and
Finance, Frankfurt, Germany. He is a licensed advocate from the Nepal Bar
Council, assistant professor at Kathmandu School of Law, a lecturer at National
Law College, Tribhuvan University, and a member of the Young Practitioner Group
of the Asian International Arbitration Center, Malaysia, legal advisor of
Credit Information Bureaue/Secured Transaction Registry office of Nepal.
Before founding Synergy Law and Chambers, Sahadev gained valuable experience at major international law firms, including Mayer Brown and Field fisher LLP in Europe and Pioneer Law Associates in Nepal, with a focus on banking, finance, and intellectual property law. He has also served as a legal advisor to Certif B.V., a company based in the Netherlands. Furthermore, he has experience working for Finance in Motion, one of the world's leading asset management companies based in Germany. In addition, he worked with the World Bank and various ministries of Nepal in preparing various law reform reports. Sahadev also served as a legal advisor to numerous national and international banks in multiple consortium lending projects in Nepal.
