Priyanjana Bhattarai, partner at Synergy Law and
Chambers, is a licensed attorney with the Nepal Bar Council. She holds a BA LLB
from Amity Law School, Delhi, and an LLM in Intellectual Property and
Technology Law at the American University Washington College of Law. With over
five years of experience practicing in both Nepal and India, Priyanjana
specializes in intellectual property, entertainment, privacy, and technology
law. She has represented various artists, musicians, publishers, and creative
entrepreneurs across Nepal and India. She has served as a visiting faculty
member at Kathmandu University School of Arts, where she co-developed and
taught Nepal’s first “Art and Law” course to equip fine arts students with
essential legal literacy. She has also worked with the Technology Law and
Security Program, Washington DC contributing research in the fields of
cybersecurity, nuclear security, and international law governing the use of
force.
